Job Description

Job purpose

The Director of Operations will manage the successful implementation of projects and strategic initiatives as a leader bridging Home Office and Field operations. He/ She will also be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of programs and delivering optimization recommendations.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee the solution, design and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives.

    • Oversee pre-implementation deployment plans, to ensure the following are available: adequate branch communication, training materials and general support.

    • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

    • Oversee post implementation review.

  • Produce ongoing and ad hoc analysis and present results to drive operational focus and decision making. All activities must be data driven.

  • Acts as a liaison between home office and field management.

  • Coordinates with Policies and Procedures to ensure changes to processes are appropriately documented.

  • Assess current processes and practices to determine improvements that will demonstrate measurable results for the business, such as reductions in expenses or production time.

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the budget and track monthly financial performance.

  • Evaluate and report on performance measures and profitability issues. Collaborate with the operations team on reporting formats and issues.

  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.

  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

  • Provide training as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related subject
  • 8+ years Consumer Finance or Related Experience
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Experience with implementation processes and procedures
  • Experience with and working knowledge
