Job Description

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing strategic initiatives, loan volume, leadership/ management of multiple branches as aligned with corporate targets. This includes all aspects of branch operations, team development, customer satisfaction, with the objective to achieve company short and long term goals. The role is a key part of the company leadership team, and works cross-functionally with all aspects of the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Execute strategic and tactical plans for the successful operations of the region.

  • Meet and/or exceed organizational goals related to sales, profitability, and operating costs for assigned area.

  • Works with executive leadership to formulate and execute strategic plans.

  • Assesses branch needs, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Identifies strategies to maximize sales and profits.

  • Monitors, assesses and evaluates regional performance through sales, operating cost, and other data analysis. Provides advice and direction to District Supervisors on appropriate action plans and activities to meet operational and financial goals.

  • Fosters an environment where results, integrity and ethics are expected and rewarded.

  • Critically analyzes data and translates that into a plan of action.

  • Challenges and motivates Team Members in an atmosphere of mutual respect, while establishing expectations, setting standards and providing timely, effective feedback.

  • Communicates to Team Members company, district and branch initiatives.

  • Directs District Supervisors and personnel in setting and accomplishing collection goals and monitors to ensure all personnel are following both the letter and the spirit of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).

  • Ensures that all Team Members are in strict compliance with UDAAP (Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices).

  • Audits branch compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as state and federal guidelines, laws and practices.

  • Directly selects, trains, and manages performance of district supervisors.

  • Provides highly visible and active guidance to all district supervisors in the region.

  • Provides a positive, performance-driven work environment wherein the Team Members are valued and their professional development is a priority.

  • Develops and mentors Team Members, while creating succession plans for the region.

  • Builds a culture of inclusiveness and fairness.

  • Completes regional administrative activities such as weekly reports.
